We are having some improvements made to our phone system. The engineers will be on site on Thursday 25th January to install the new functions and train our reception team. From midday, the new system will include an option for patients who are in a queue waiting for their call to be answered to request an automatic call back when they reach position one in the queue.
The new system will also provide us with better data to enable us to look at call demand, which can help us provide more accurate staffing levels.
