General Practice Assistant (GPA)
Hours: 25 per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)
Pay: £14.30 per hour
Other: 5 weeks annual leave + bank holidays (pro rata), NHS Pension
3 Valleys Health PCN Position based at Hope House Surgery, Radstock.
We are expanding our team and wish to appoint or train a suitable candidate to become a General Practice Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. We are a dedicated and dynamic practice, with patient care at our core. Along with seven other local practices we have formed 3 Valley’s Health PCN, with a combined list size of over 67,000 patients. As a PCN we have an innovative and supportive approach to collaborative working.
Who we are looking for:
You will have a background in health care (admin or clinical) and be keen to learn and develop. This role requires the applicant to undertake study for the first 6 months to obtain the General Practice Assistant qualification and protected time and mentoring will be provided to help achieve this. You will be flexible, keen to develop your skills, be patient focussed and able to communicate well at all levels.
