We are about to start a new project looking at what is causing diarrhoea and vomiting symptoms in the community, as part of a UK wide study. We will be sending information by text message to eligible patients soon. It is simple to take part; you will be asked about your symptoms on a weekly basis via an app. Those who develop symptoms may be asked to send samples. Later, patients who present with symptoms may also be asked to take part in a different part of the study.
